As I needed to add Android MArket to me device, I did a FActory reset thorugh the settings. Unfortunately after the reset my device freezes once the unlock screen is shown. None of the buttons other than the power button works. so the only option I have is to poweron and off the device. The device does not sense touch as well.
I did try the hard reset by using the reset interface on the back of the device. Still the result is the same.(According to the manual I shoul have been given the callibration option after hard reset)
