Coby Kyros issue loading apps.

I just won a new Coby Kyros android tablet at an auction, looks great only it wont download ANY apps. Every time anything is attempted I get a message that the download failed, please try again later. Please Help!

What model Coby do you have, and what app are you using to download apps?

This is a MID1042-8. "Ice Cream Sandwich" and attempting to use Getjar that came on the unit to download apps.

The solution is simple: don't use GetJar. In fact, Coby themselves recommended installing the Amazon Appstore in place of GetJar and SlideMe. In fact, when they were still in business they actually provided a PDF explaining what to do.

You could also root your tablet and install the Google Play Store, but if you're not comfortable with rooting, the Amazon Appstore will do the trick.
