COBY MID 7048 and Micro SD card recognizing problems

I have the above Tablet. I have tried 2 different micro SD cards in it. On the Setting screen, at the Storage section - it states I have a mounted SC card that states I have 29.71 gb available. But the Tablet will only recognize 1.34 gb. Can anyone suggest a fix or something? When I download apps or anything, I get the message that I am out of storage etc. Very Frustrating.

You have two internal storage spaces: /mnt/sdcard and /mnt/extsd. /mnt/sdcard is the internal storage in the tablet and by default all apps that are downloaded or installed go to that space. /mnt/extsd is where music, videos, and other documents get stored. On your tablet, changing this is not possible, unless you want to lose one or both of the storage spaces. There have been multiple people who have tried this (search the forums). They all came back with SD cards not being recognized by the tablet.
