Common Question - How to reset forgotten password

Okay, as far as I know I have a Trio Pro Stealth 7. I have tried entering the password 5 times wrong and have ALSO started it up in safe mode.

I wanted to factory reset, but I haven't been able to.

Every time I start up in safe mode it goes back to the password screen.

Also, I do NOT get a "Forgot Password" option when I enter my password in wrong 5 times.

You probably didn't get the prompt because WiFi was off or not connected. Factory resets differ from tablet to tablet. The most common method is to start with it off, them hold vol+ and power both at the same time long enough to get some text upper left of the screen. You may be presented with a couple options and one may be wipe. If vol+ doesn't work try it with vol-
