Hello,
I have bought my mom an Android tablet for Christmas; this will be her introduction to computers and the internet. I want her to have the capability to connect to the internet, but I don't want her to have to spend a hefty monthly fee for access. Is it possible to pair up this Android 2.2 tablet, which has mini-USB port, to a 56K modem with two ports, one for data (tablet) and one for her phone? What I don't know is if the Android OS will support it; I couldn't find any info on the web about it. Also, if someone has any other ideas, I'd appreciate some help.
I'd appreciate any help you might have in connection with this, and if you have a specific modem model in mind, please offer that, too.
Thanks,
Mike
