In order to keep DVD discs from scratching or manage the movies in a more convenient way, most folks are fond of backing up DVDs into and ISO/IFO image files. ISO can be played by VLC, MPlayer, KMPlayer, etc. However, neither DVD ISO nor IFO is supported by the brand-new Google Nexus 10. If you have some ISO/IFO image files and wanna play them on Nexus 10, you may have to convert ISO/IFO to Nexus 10 compatible video formats like MP4, MOV first and then transfer the encoded video files to your Nexus 10 for playback.

How to Convert DVD ISO/IFO to Nexus 10 supported video formats
P.S. The quick tutorial uses DVD Ripper for Windows Screenshots. The way encoding ISO/IFO to your Nexus 10 is almost the same.
1. Add ISO/IFO image files.
Launch the ISO Converter tool on your PC, and then click "ISO/IFO" icon to import ISO/IFO image files. You can also add DVD discs, DVD folder.
2. Choose the output video format
Click "Format" bar and move mouse to "Android" column, you can easily find the profile of "Google Nexus 10 H.264 Video(*.mp4)" (to get the customized profile, you can free download a patch here). The output videos could fit on Google Nexus 10 perfectly.
Tips: If you like, you can click "Settings" to change the video encoder, resolution, frame rate, etc. as you wish. Remember the file size and video quality is based more on bitrate than resolution which means itrate higher results in big file size, and lower visible quality loss. According to my experience, for watching videos on the Android 4.2 based Nexus 10, 720p with 1500~2500kbps is just all right.
3. Start ISO/IFO to Nexus 10 Conversion
After all the above settings, simply click "Convert" button to start converting ISO/IFO files to Nexus 10 mp4 video.
4. Transfer the result videos to your Google Nexus 10 via USB cable
