Hi, I have a Sylvania HD Video 8 GB MP3 player I got on sale. The screen cracked and wasn't covered by warranty. I have an IdeaPad and am getting another mp3 player. But since I have this and it's still relatively new is there anyway to fix it manually?
I don't want to pay to repair it because even though it's cheap I only paid like $60 for it brand new and already have a new IPod and IdeaPad tablet.
What I'm wondering is if I remove the screen and put like some sort of plastic layer overtop of it, will the touch screen still work? I don't care if it doesn't look pretty I just want it to work if possible.
