Craig CMP741D - How to Make Full Wipe in the Recovery

hi guys i am new here, i am from Costa rica..
My Friend have Craig CMP741D and put pattern he forgot it.
I must enter to the recovery and made full wipe but i dont know how to enter cant u please explein to me how to do it...

My 8 year old just did same thing. I tried to do power and volume up to get to recovery, however even after holding up for 5 minutes never goes to menu. Tried a software update, but it just left password on

This fix doesnt work , when you insert the sd card into the unit it just boots to password lock again and will not boot
from sd card
