We found a potentially decent deal for you guys today. DailySteals is selling a WiFi + 4G LTE Motorola Xyboard (Xoom 2) for just $219.99 shipped. Just in case you need a refresher on specs, (we did too), here's a breakdown:
Product Features
10.1" or 8.2" 16GB WiFi + 4G LTE Verizon both include:
16GB internal storage
CDMA 800 / 1900 Verizon 4G
LTE band 13 + diversity
Ships with Android Honeycomb (upgradeable to Ice Cream Sandwich)
10.1 IPS-enhanced HD display
Resolution 1280x800
1.2GHz dual-core processor
1GB LP DDR2 RAM
4G LTE data service
Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n
5MP rear camera
Front-facing HD webcam
Bluetooth
There are a couple of interesting things to notice here. First, you can choose either the 8-inch version or the 10-inch version (which is odd that they would be the same price, but whatever...). Second, this "venerable" device still comes with Honeycomb, although it is upgradeable to ICS. Wait? Honeycomb? Isn't that a cereal? Oh yeah... Google's first attempt at a tablet OS. I completely forgot about that one.
Hmmmm... the price is nice, but the being stuck at Ice Cream Sandwich is definitely food for thought. Here's a link below if that doesn't bother you. As of the time of this writing (10:30AM CT), you have about 12 hours to grab one.
