Deleting Files From RCA Viking 10 ?

I have an RCA tablet that I downloaded a bunch of junk files to (while I was trying to learn how to use it),
I don't know how to delete them , is there an "app." needed ?
Thanks , in advance for anyone who answers this question.(as you can probably tell, I still have much to

Michael, your device should have an app already installed. It may be labeled as "Files", "My Files" or something along those lines. If not, you can install one from the play store. Astro is one that I have used.

If you want to delete one you long press the file and you'll be given several options on what to do with the file. Select delete.
