Do we need antivirus application for samsung galaxy player?

Since this is a pc based machine i wondered if we need antivirus protection?If the answer is yes could someone recommend a free android anti virus application that is good? Thanks Matt

well first, it is not pc based, it is more Linux-based. As far as antivirus, not required by always a good idea. I use Lookout.
