I have grabbed a BB playbook for $200. After the dismal news that came out on Friday, I am wondering if it was a mistake to buy. I want to use it with Android when the new OS updates in Feb, but I am still stinging a little from the thought that they might no longer support it in the short or long term.
I don't want to spend any more on a tablet than I have. I tried to get the HP, but got hosed when they didn't fulfill their email assurances when I signed up for one in August. So this seemed to be the best alternative. I really want the Android portion of the new OS to come through - which will hopefully make it worthwhile.
Any thoughts?
Are there any other tablets out there that are close to the specs of the playbook for around the same price?
