I'm guessing the technologies are mutually exclusive, but it would be sweet for a tablet to have an eInk mode for reading ebooks and a LCD mode for other tablet features.
I'm thinking about getting one of the new nooks and I like the idea of eInk because it's easier on your eyes. I like most, spend much of my day staring at a computer monitor (aka big square light bulb) and am a bit worried at what that is doing to my eyes. I also do most of my reading at night in bed and i think the light would throw off my circadian rhythm.
But if I'm going to spend the cash, it would nice if the tablet could do a little more than just ebooks and be able to play movies while I'm traveling. Anyone out there know if any manufacturers are working to bring the best of both worlds together?
