eken M009s bricks - shorting motherboard?

Hi,

I seem to have bricked my M009s (it displays a green LED only when held to turn on, then subsequent presses of the power button will turn the LED off and on again).

I read to let the battery discharge then put a micro SD card in with the new flash on it and turn it on connected to the AC adapter. I've done this, but when I turn it back on nothing changes.

So I'm trying to short the battery on the motherboard to ensure the device loses any memory that way, but can't work out how to do it. Expected to see a traditional 'battery' like in a desktop PC, but that is not the case.

Anyone have any advice on what to do next?

And also which firmware is best. I've established mine is the 2 touch one and wifi wouldn't work with some flashes. Tried another that wouldn't let me calibrate ("calibrate failed") so couldn't actually get to the wifi to see if that worked or not!

Thanks a lot if anyone can help!

Zack
