Email Compatability Problems

Hello,

I just bought a Vizio Tablet for my wife. It is working great but I am unable to get my wifes [email protected] email set-up. When I call Vizio support they tell me I have to download a 3rd party app from the Marketplace. Has anyone had any experience with this and been able to set-up their Verizon.net email?

Hello Ray, welcome to Android Tablets and congratulations on the Visio tablet. Sorry you're having problems with that email. That sounds like the sort of problem the Visio tablet owners should be able to help you with, so I'm moving your thread to the Vizio Tablets section. Good luck!

Hi Ray, and welcome to the VTAB sub-forum!

I've never messed with the included mail app. The Gmail email app set itself up when I set the tablet up with my Google account. For my home, work and Comcast business email account I use K-9 mail, which seems to be pretty much the best one out there of the free email apps on the marketplace. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work with your Verizon email account.
