Error code on Sylvania 7" snet7lp-ds

I just purchased a tablet sylvania 7" synet7lp, the H/W 1d# is 12.7.0.12 s/n#synet7lp-ds098-016829....when we turned it on, everything worked fine, then an error kept popping up, "process com.android.inputmethod.latin" has stopped unexpectedly..this is the only keyboard app on the tablet, i would try downloading a new keyboard app, but it wont let me type in my wep key for my wireless network..How do i fix this problem?

Sounds like maybe you should try doing a factory reset?

Yeah, ive tried a factory reset, and a system update
