Excel and pdf hyperlinks

I am thinking about buy an samsung tab 3 with jelly bean 4.2 OS. My question is if there is possible to open an excel sheet with hyperlinks to pdf documents that are saved in the same folder?

Yes, that shouldn't be a problem, however, not having tried it myself I can't say for sure that the PDF file would open via the link. My guess is that is should if it's a "relative" link, meaning the link points to the same location
