I'm using an Acer Iconia Tab A500 and couldn't get it to read from my 500GB WD external hard drive. DOS wasn't able to format my hard drive because it only does it for 32 GB drives or partitions. I downloaded the MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition free from the internet and used that to format the full external hard drive. Hope it works for everybody else too.
