External Hard Drive with ZT 180

Planning on purchasing epad zt 180. Will the epad allow me to use my 1tb external hard drive and watch saved avi movies (via usb)? Is there any apps that need to be downloaded ? Thanks in advance

I have used USB thunmb drive with the ZT-180 and it does access all the folers/files in the thumb drive.
I did play some AVI video clips, taken with my camera, it does not play smoothly, could be due to the hires of my video clip. On the PC , I had similar issue.
Playing music, open documents is fine.

my zt180 would not see my 1tb external hd.... they are limited to 32 gb according to factory specs. I have only tried my 8 gig thumb drive and my 1tb external hd. from what I have seen no tablet will use a 1tb external but maybe someone else has got it to work.
