Facebook Messenger App Won't Open

Hi,

Just got a brand new tablet with Kitkat. Facebook Messenger is downloaded and installed. When you click on the icon it acts like it is opening and then a message pops up that it cannot open. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that does not help.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the Forum.
Try going to Settings>Apps>All. Locate the App and clear data and cache. Reboot and see if the App opens.
