Force Closing an App/Game???

hi, you see, ive encountered this problem, which i was playing a game, "move the box lite" to be exact, and then i came to the point where im tired of playing the game so i click the back button in hopes to close the app. But it didnt, i did press twice/hold the back button but to no avail, and i can still also play the game even even though i tried that attempt. Can anyone help me? Is there anyway to force close an active app? i cant go to the homepage to force close it so force closing it using the built in application manager is not an option. Thanks in Advance

If the app is hanging then hold down your power button until your tablet turns off and reboot it.
