Forgot my password

Can somebody help me here?

I changed the password to unlock the tablet but I forgot it... I tried to do the hard reset (Press on botton while press volume down botton) but it doesn't work.. instead of restarting, the screen only shows a white line and the soft keys won't stop blinking. I had to remove the battery to make it stop.

what can I do??

Please help me
