Galaxy tablet

We just purchased a Samsung internet TV and Blu Ray player and got with it a Galaxy tablet. The guy who sold it to us said that it was really easy to download and set up the tablet so that it worked as our MySky remote and to double view with the TV. I have found a free app on the Android site for Sky Remote and down loaded it but I don't seem to be able to get it to work at all. Is anyone using a tablet as their remote and if so, please tell me how you did it? I think I have been duped.

Hi Technophobic, welcome to the forum. I've moved your question to the Samsung Galaxy Tab section of the forum where the folks familiar with your tablet are located. Hopefully someone there will be able to tell you how to get that app working.
