Ebay has a bunch of generic--and some brand name--Li-Polymer batteries in sizes that will fit a lot of tablets. Anyone ever tried one of these things? And if so, with what results? I have a Nextbook with a deader in it, and there's one that's close enough in size, and 3850 mAh, where the original was 4000. Seems like it should work, and it's cheap enough, but I wonder...
And a related question: if the battery is toast, can the regulator PBC on the old battery be re-used on another good "raw" cell, or does it remember that its cell died, and refuse to rercognize the new one?
