The glass on my Thrive broke (cracked) while removing the back cover. I was told it is no longer under warantee. This seems outrageous. Neither Best Buy or Toshiba will support the unit. It had 12 days of usage on it.
I bought mine from micro center and I bought the insurence if I where to drop in and break it I would get replaced for free. It should not have cracked on removal of the cover. makes me want to change my mind about purchasing the thrive. It was going to be my next purchase. I think I just buy another transformer since it has gorilla glass. What is best buys extended warrenty on these units you have 30 days from purchase to buy the protection plan. does there protection plan cover broken glass.
