GMail and Email

Ive been running my Tab for a few weeks now and when I set it up it seems that I enabled both the GMail and Email apps, so that when I get an email, I get two notifications for a single email. Id like to uninstall one of these two apps - it seems like a waste of processing to have both running, but I dont know which I should uninstall and I cant see how to do it anyway. Can anyone help please?

As far as I know neither the stock mail app or G-Mail can be uninstalled as they came as a part of the OS on the tablet, however you could tell either to not check mail, or simply delete the account, unless I'm missing something in your description, which I have been known to do.

Do you have an option to stop sync for Gmail? I did and disabled notifications. I use Kaiten.
