Gtablet does not connect to router

i have a problem with my GTablet connecting to the router. here is what i have: GTablet with Android 2.2 stock 1.1 and CWM installed, the router is a DLink combo modem and router. when i got my tablet it was working fine and there was no problem connecting. some apps were getting forced to close which led me to install CWM and do repartition. the problem with the apps getting forced to close is solved. but then the tab stopped connecting to the router... it finds the router and tries to get an IP address, fails, disconnect and starts all over again.
i tried NVFlash to get it back to its original stock. no luck
i took it to a friends place and it connected to his linksys router without a hiss, which means that it is not a hardware problem, but rather a conflict is existing between its wifi and my dlink router
i posted an appeal all over but no one so far came forward
any one has an idea or a fix

my problem was solved with a stupid maneuvering. i rebooted my router two times. the first time nothing happened but the second time, my gtablet connected like magic
