Haipad 701 - stuck on browser

tried to reset my rooted Haipad 70 so i can give it to someone, it went through the erase process, booted up got to the screen where i go through the setup wizard then it goes to a web browser to try to connect to launcherpro's website with a message that says launcher pro is expired and needed to be updated.

Problem is it is not connecting to my network, even after i opened it, and it stays on the web browser, does not let me go into home screen so i can go to settings and make changes

any ideas?
