Haipad m701 ad-hoc network

Hi, I am a new member. I have just purchased a Haipad M701 secondhand, and I need to access the internet for a new download.(previous owners mail and passwords can't be erased) I have a Shintaro wifi dongle to run a ad hoc network but the "jinglish" instructions have me lost. has anybody set one up before? Would be very greatful for some help, thanks..
