Has anyone heard of this tablet: DNT P702

I came across this article this week: TCC8902 (Its in Chinese, so be prepared to use your web translator of choice)

The article claims that this TCC8902 tablet is overclocked to 1 GHz, runs Froyo, and has a 2.6.35 kernel.

It appears to be made by this company: ±Ê¼Ç±¾µçÄÔ£¬±Ê¼Ç±¾µçÄÔ·½°¸_ÉîÛÚÌìçáͨѶ¿Æ¼¼ÓÐÏÞ¹«Ë¾ (again in Chinese)

Is this truly 2.2? Does anyone have access to the firmware or speak chinese well enough to see about getting a copy of the kernel code?

Phceda (which is the site you linked to) might have an updated P7.

But I haven't seen any stable 2.2 implementations on TCC8902 yet, so it would be news to me.

Phceda supposedly sources PCBs from CBS I heard. If there is a company we should have tried, it would have been Emdoor who makes the Coby MID7015 boards.
