Has Asus fixed wifi with the transformer prime

I ordered a transformer prime tablet when it first came out but it had problems with the wifi (couldnt get connection in my house if I wasnt in same room as router). I returned that tablet but was wondering if anyone knows if the problems are have been fixed?

Would it be worth it to try and order this tablet again or should I pick a different one?

there was some frimware updates that fixed the wifi. but what kind of router are you useing make sure its set up right.
i knowafewpeople that got an airport router what ever that is and they have no trouble
