I am in possession of a Samsung Galaxy tab3 and a TV connection kit with card reader.
When I connect my tablet to the HDMI input on the TV and the HDMI channel, turn on the TV does not respond.
Do I need to install anything on your tablet or set.
With my laptop I have no problem.

The only thing that comes to mind is to try manually changing the input on the TV.

Hi sperwer, congratulations on your new Galaxy Tab3 and welcome to the forum. Nice of you to become a member of Android Tablets. On my system, I have to make sure the tablet is on before I switch the TV to HDMI, or it won't connect. (Some tablets have a switch in the settings similar to the WiFi and Bluetooth, but I don't think yours does. Also, if the connection kit requires power, make sure it's plugged in.)
