Headphone jack issues

I have been playing around with mine for two days now and I am getting frustrated. When I play music through headphones there is a pop before the song starts to play. I have tried all of my sets of headphones and they all do it. When I have the unit set up with audible screen taps and the like I also get a crackle and pop through the headphones. Is anyone else having this issue? I like the tablet itself but I may have to return it.

Just tried earphones on mine (they are the ones I got with Touch about 3 yrs a go). No pops , crackles sounds good.

Yea, I dont have any sound issues with headphones. In fact, it's clearer, louder, and deeper than my HTC Evo 4G ever was. I do get pops and cracks with very loud volume though with the built in speakers. I'd venture to bet this is more a problem with your headphones or the jack, then the software running your Iconia.

If you're still under 14 days, take it back and get a new one.
