Hello I rzzy from TX and I have a Sylvania tablet from CVS with a problem

I got a Sylvania tablet from CVS for $99. I haven't spent much time with it but I had no problem setting it up right away without much effort. I upgraded the SlideMe to 4.0 and got an app. When I tried to download more, I got a no card message (and there was a mini sd 4g card) and then I got a your card is damaged error message. In case it was damaged (it was new from package) I tried another new one, different brand and got the same message. It said it was not mounted but I don't see any directions on mounting the card and I am ignorant about this. I would appreciate any help and I am happy to have found this site so that I can learn more about Android and using my tablet.
