help error 505 and 555?

Hello I just bought this for my son for Christmas and we can't get anywhere online, the connection is good, but when we try to get apps on slide it says error 505 and sometimes error 555... Can I fix this or do I have to return it? My son is really disappointed... I would like to fix this fast anyone please? thanks

Its possible with the influx of tablets received for xmas, the appstores are getting overwhelmed by requests. Give it a day or two to settle down and try again.
