Help for noob - newly nooted nook color w/ auto launcher

Nooted by girlfriend's nook color for her last night with the auto launcher. I think that's what its called, I'm using the one where you run the nook os as an app and have the little ribbon of gingerbread apps on top of the nook OS. Anyway as you know with this version, the auto launcher comes up when you boot or hit the n key. On that screen you can run nook os, soft keys or launch the gingerbread apps. Well on this screen is a check box to choose one as default. I selected the nook OS as default and cant for the life of me undo it. So at this point I cant go back to anything other than the nook os. Ive googled for hours on this with no luck, so hopefully someone here can hekp me out. Thanks!
