Help! screen broken on my 7" tablet!

My android 2.2 tablet was a gift and I promptly broke it. Thought I was careful with it but I remember it fell off the coffee table recently. The next day it worked one minute and the screen was messed up the next. Looks like kids artwork from the paint program. I saw a vid. on wonder how-to on replacing your own screen on an i phone and I hope someone has a similar fix for one of these. I like the pad, it does almost everything, but I'm thinking it would probably be cheaper to buy another one. It's just a $100 chinese pad. Thanx, Dann.

You could try to buy a bricked one on ebay and then use the screen off of that. But I don't know if it is worth it to go through all of that trouble for $100.
