help with apps

hi there i have the android trio stealth ice cream sandwich. i have tried to out apps on but it wont let me. it just keeps saying i dont have any devices and i have already signed up through google. it says i shoukd have a little icopn that is a briefcase? and also is there a way i can put spell check on so hat when i mispell it will just correct it for me? thank you

What you're looking for is something that looks like a shopping bag, not a briefcase. The spell check if the keyboard you are using doesn't have it try Hackers Keyboard, once you get the Google Store working.
