Help with my tablet!

I bought this from China as a gift for my son it worked for a while and it suddenly froze. We have tried to find some new firmware but have had no luck, we are not sure on the exact model so we have posted some pictures below.

You can reset it and check the Model/firmware build and search by that or search by processor chip,
Slight longer way of searching,
Not sure if there is a app which will tell you the brand..

how do we reset the tablet???

The manual you have does it tell you how to reset,
Currently does the tablet boot up to he screen or just freeze???

It just showed the frozen android logo, we then tried to download some new firmware but it appears not to be the correct type because it is out of scale and doesn't get past the logo again. The manual doesn't show how to reset either.
