Help with updting my kyros

I am having trouble updating my kyros 7015. I am following the ultimate guide step by step that I found in one of the post, and the step by step directions from the coby web site, but I can not get passed the first step, My error message says: failed to open/sdcard/update.zip, e: no such file or directory. I have been trying for two weeks and i am flustrated. Please help!!!!

You should check the version number, newer tablets come already updated. You should only need to update appslib, all you have to do is open it, it will ask you to update.
Google "slideme" with the browser & install that app, it will give more options for software.
All that rooting & stuff is not needed, I'm running mine stock.

My firmware version is 2.1-update, build number is mid 7015 1.6-20101129-1. It should say 7015a. Are you able to download a e book app?

So your already updated. Grab that slideme app I told you to google, that will give you access to a bigger market than appslib. I just use the aldiko reader already installed.
