Hi everyone, recently bought a small android tablet on impulse via a shopping channel (ugh!), after doubting the need for one for ages, but now with this as an extra to my laptop, I am quite excited about it and how useful it will be when visiting friends/family. I have removed some of the installed apps and added others of my own. I have learnt that to drag the app icon to the top cross only removes the shortcut. I am aware that to remove totally is via settings>apps>scroll to find the one you wish to dump and uninstall it.

I do have a question but must find the appropriate thread.

Hi islandman, congratulations on your new Android tablet and welcome to the forum. Nice of you to become a member of Android Tablets. It sounds as though you're making pretty good progress understanding how your tablet works. The more you use it the easier it is to use.
