Hi, I just got an Acer A500

Hello All,

I am a new Acer A500 owner. I used this forum while researching my purchase decision and a couple of times since to research some issues.

Some basic info about me:
- Home: US, specifically Illinois, western Illinois, not near Chicago. Rural.
- Job: Software developer, primarily Java, Servlets, JSP
- Misc: Married, 2 grown step kids, and a handful of grandkids

I really like my new Acer A500. I've had an LG Ally for about 1 year. I really like the Ally, but it is SOOOO tiny. It is a fine phone, but not a good surfing device or book reader. I've been following the Android tablets for about 8 months and finally took the plunge. Happy with the decision.
