Hi, I need help about a gift from my Nan! Android tablet IMAPX220

Hi all, My nan has just rang to tell me that she has ordered me an Android tablet IMAPX220 10".
I am clueless!
I am fine on computers and things but hardly even know what a tablet is let alone what they do! lol
I have tried to find reviews on it but keep hitting a brick wall.
What kind of things can I get on a tablet??
They seemed to be explained as a small handy computer but who knows??? Can I type documents up on them or are they just for music, pics and internet??
Please dont laugh, I freely admit I havent the foggiest!

When it arrives, read the manual and if you still have questions, and you will if it's like most manuals, click on this link to the Android Tablet Q&A section to find out exactly which tablet you have.
