I have been bought my first android tablet it says that it is an X5A on the paper work but when I go into the settings it tells me its an X6D?! are they essentially the same??

It is running 2.1 and I would like to know if the new versions of android can be installed?

It is supposed to be a brand new device but it says the kernel version is 2.6.29 root@localhost#153 has this device been rooted??

also flash websites dont seem to be working, is this due to it being 2.1? do i need 2.2? cheers

android 2.1 not support flash , you can use skyfire to visti flash website
there is android 2.2 for x5a , you can search the google
