My name is Fuzzyduck, and I come from the Midlands in the UK.
In the past I've been a bit of a HTC fan boi, and have graduated into the Android arena. Via a HTC Hero, and Desire.
I work in IT dealing with (Amongst other things) in corporate mobile communications, so keep an eye on the market, and fell in love with a Dell Streak in the O2 shop. after serious consideration I decided not to buy as it's only Android 1.6.
Anyway, as a keep reader of The Register I note that announcements from some of the more mainstream players are coming in thick and fast, so am looking to buy 1 before crimbo.
My desired specs are.
7" screen
Snapdragon or Tegra 2 Processor
Android 2.2 upgradable to 3
3G HSDPA GPRS
Able to use it as a phone when out and about. so I don't end up doing what I do now, and carry 3 phones. (So i can surf the net on my HD2)
Able to use it as a WAP
My dream
10" screen
Waterproof (so I can dash mount it on my boat)
Snapdragon or Tegra 2 Processor
Audio over bluetooth
3G HSDPA GPRS
Able to use it as a wireless access point
Able to use it as a phone.
I'm currently liking the look of the forthcoming Viewsonic
