Hkc p771A update and app problems

I recently got a 7" hkc p771A. Ever since I got it, I can't get it to update! And the App Store says chrome is not compatible tho it came preloaded but when I try to go to chrome setting the app crashes! Also I can't seem to figure out what type of video files it can download and play. Please someone help me! I've been confused over this for 2weeks

I suggest downloading from the web and copy to a micro SD card, and then put your card into the tablet. It will read the image file upon boot up. Be sure the power cord is plugged in and be patient. When it performs the 1st reboot after the update, it will be around 5 minutes from boot to home screen. It may appear locked , but is not.The new update corrects app compatibility issues , battery charging algorithm, and other bug fixes. Don't bother with Chrome ( IMHO ) . I use Dolphin browser.
