As leeshor pointed out, it is not just as simple to upgrade as it is with iOS as there are many versions of hardware.

Most OS updates are rolled out by tablet manufacturers. You may also be able to find custom versions of newer software (ROMs) on the forum, or other forums (like xda-developers.com) for your tablet that you can install.

Let us know what type of tablet you have and we will do our best to get ICS-ified

Hi...from Republic of SA, and also still waiting for official ICS update. They said early Q2, but we already in beginning of Q3. Any news on whether it will eventually roll out?
