I have an Asus Eee Transformer running Honeycomb 3.0. When I press the double windows icon in the lower left corner of the screen, the apps that are running in the background display. How can I kill one of these apps if I no longer want it to be running?

Also is there a limit on the number of background apps that can be running? The multi-tasking list always seems to max out at 4 apps?

Thanks...

i think the multi-tasking list is limited by real estate more than actual apps running...on mine i see 5 apps in landscape and 7 apps in portrait mode...and i haven't figured out how to kill apps either.

those aren't running apps necessarily, they are just your most recently used apps. You can either get a task manager from the market, or go into your settings=>applications=>running to see what's running and to stop processes.
