How to create a bootable stock rom SD card?

I have gone to CM7 on the emmc, but now I want to create a bootable stock rom (or rooted stock rom) sd card so that I can read my magazine and kids books.

How can I go about doing this? I've looked for a stock rom image to burn on an SD card, but i cannot find it.

please point me in the right direction!

I don't believe there is one to run from sd card at the moment. Too much other developement going on to worry about putting an autonooter ROM into bootable sd format. Somebody will do it eventually.

Not sure this is possible; I've never seen a bootable image version of stock b&n software. Your suggestions is sort of the opposite of what most people are looking for. There are stock b&n 1.1 images but they are for restoring your emmc, not booting. OHHH MAN!! that is a huge bummer. you think i could suggest someone create this? I think it could be rather popular.

you know, have a bootable SD card for magz and such. that way the nook community would have a bootable SD card for 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3

I agree. CM7 is awesome and I'd like to have it on eMMC and boot to a stock Nook version. Best of both worlds that way with the main performance ROM running internal.
