How to disable the factory Accuweather on non rooted device

The Accuweather application/widget included with the a2109 is now discontinued and a newer one has been released. It is not an upgrade. If you install it, you will end up with both the new and old running. If you updated the old one at some point, it made the Disable button disappear. So what you must do is the following - in Apps, go to the properties of the old one (if you have already installed the new one, just look at version numbers and it's the lower one) and first select Uninstall Updates. Clear the data/cache, stop the process and disable it.

As an aside, I was happy with the widget and the new one seems fine also.
